Kladdkaka くらっどかーか, ココアのケーキ

Kladdkaka är en av mina favoriter i de svenska efterätterna för det är så gött och enkelt att göra! Jag minns att jag inte tyckte om kakan i början för det kändes rå. Men nu förstår jag att det är poängen:)

Kladdkaka means sticky cake. As the name suggests the cake is almost raw inside. It’s so yummy especially with whipped cream and a cup of coffee.

スウェーデンの定番、クラッドカーカ。直訳すると、べたべたケーキ。少しの生クリームと深入りコーヒーと、最高のコンビです。美味しそうでしょ?

Recipe (for a 19cm round form or 16cm x 23cm form)

  • Flour 2 dl
  • Cacao powder 4 table spoons
  • Egg 2
  • Sugar 3 dl
  • Vanilla sugar 1 tea spoon
  • Butter 100g
  • Salt 1 pinch
  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture gets white and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour and cacao into 2. Mix them well.
  4. Add the melted butter into 3. Mix them well until the mixture gets smooth.
  5. Pour 4 into a form.
  6. Put the cake in the lowest place of the oven. Bake it for 15 minutes.
  7. Check if the cake is done or not with a fork. If the fork gets all the way doughy it needs to be baked few minutes more but if only the tips get a little bit of sticky dough then it is perfect!
  8. Cool the cake down and before it loses complete warmth, serve it with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
